Member Profile: Marla Cranston
Marla is Dalhousie's newest Communications and Marketing Manager (Editorial), coming to us from NSCAD University where she served as Communications Coordinator from June 2003 – November 2005. Previously she was a reporter at the Halifax Daily News, where she covered justice issues, city hall, arts& culture, education, environment and "LOTS of murder trials," she notes, from 1990-2003. She also worked on numerous freelance publicity projects in the local film/TV industry, and as Editor at the Bedford-Sackville Weekly News.
She grew up in Dartmouth, enjoys photography and is looking forward to taking some philosophy courses at Dal. Welcome to Marla!
